| Membership in the International Organization for Secure Commerce (IOSC) is open to all individuals worldwide with an interest in secure commerce practices. Membership will not be denied any individual on the basis of race, religion, nationality, gender or political affiliation. Membership is NOT open to individuals who have been convicted of or are under indictment for a felony crime. Membership may be denied to any individual who has been convicted of any crime deemed to constitute a violation of the IOSC Code of Conduct. A member in good standing is any approved member whose annual membership dues are paid for the current year. A charter member is any member in good standing who was also one of the first 100 individuals to join the IOSC. Any member in good standing may use the IOSC Member logo on their personal business cards, web site and personal correspondence. Members who qualify may use the IOSC Charter Member logo on their personal business cards, web site and personal correspondence. Use of the member logos is on the condition that they are used intact, without modification of proportion or color. Members in good standing may be eligible for discounts on IOSC training, materials or merchandise. Members recognize that the IOSC is governed by a Board of Directors, and that the Board of Directors has absolute authority in the approval or revocation of membership. The Board of Directors has the authority to investigate any reported breach of professional ethics or conduct standards. The Board of Directors may revoke the membership of any member found to be in violation of the IOSC code of conduct or who has been determined to be acting against the best interests of the IOSC. Individuals who fail to maintain their membership in good standing, or whose memberships are revoked, will immediately cease to claim membership or use IOSC logos in any way. Members will refrain from teaching using IOSC materials, or from claiming IOSC sanction or authorization to teach or train, unless they hold a current certification as a Certified Secure Commerce Instructor (CSC/I). Members will refrain from claiming IOSC sanction or authorization to perform third party facility audits unless they hold a current certification as a Certified Secure Commerce Examiner (CSC/E). Membership in the IOSC does not convey any right or authority to make statements on behalf of the IOSC Board of Directors or its membership. Membership does not indicate suitability for any job or position, nor does it convey or imply any rights or privileges not explicitly listed in this document.
